The Grant Arms Hotel, situated in the heart of Ramsbottom, Lancashire, is steeped in history. Originally named top o'th 'Brow it became "Grant Lodge" when the famous Grant Family adopted it as their family home. The Grant brothers William and Daniel were noted in history as being the two characters that Charles Dickens based his ' Cheeryble Brothers' upon in his famous novel Nicholas Nickleby. In 1828 it acquired it's present name and as such has found popularity with everyone as a pub, meeting place and venue for many local events.
